Today, the National Urban League headquartered in New York City, spearheads the non-partisan efforts of its local aliates. There are over 100 aliates of the National Urban League located in 36 states and the District of Columbia, providing direct services like job training, home ownership and educational assistance to 600,000 people nationwide and 60 million more through programs, advocacy and research. To help African-Americans and others in underserved communities achieve their highest true social parity, economic self- reliance, power, and civil rights.
